Ag stats: September 2020 mountain states milk production highlights
Arizona dairy herds produced 1.08 billion pounds of milk during the July - September quarter, down 1.5 percent from the previous year.
Colorado dairy herds produced 1.31 billion pounds of milk during the July - September quarter, up 7.5 percent from the previous year.
Montana dairy herds produced 64.0 million pounds of milk during the July - September quarter, down 3.0 percent from the previous year.
New Mexico dairy herds produced 1.99 billion pounds of milk during the July - September quarter, down 2.6 percent from the previous year.
Utah dairy herds produced 560.0 million pounds of milk during the July - September quarter, down 2.4 percent from the previous year.
Wyoming dairy herds produced 50.5 million pounds of milk during the July - September quarter, up 36.5 percent from the previous year.
UNITED STATES HIGHLIGHTS
Milk production in the United States during the July - September quarter totaled 55.3 billion pounds, up 2.0 percent from the July - September quarter last year.
