Colorado Bureau of Investigation offering internships
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Forensic Services section is currently accepting applications for a summer internship program for college juniors, seniors and recent graduates with a focus on natural sciences.
Interns will spend approximately 12-20 hours per week in the forensic science laboratory between June and August 2019. These positions are unpaid, but will offer valuable experience to those looking to pursue a career in the field of forensic services.
Candidates must be pursuing a natural science degree at an accredited university at either a junior or senior class level. Recent graduates will also be considered. Preference will be given to candidates receiving class credit for this internship.
The application process will begin with submission of the following information:
- Cover letter- In the cover letter, please outline your qualifications as well as an internship project idea proposal. We may choose to allow you to do your project with a scientist or have you work on a project of our choosing.
- Resume or CV
- Copy of unofficial transcripts
- Letter of Recommendation from someone who can speak to your work ethic
