Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers rescued an adult suffering a life-threatening injury from a boating accident at Chatfield Reservoir near Littleton on July 11, 2026.

Officers responded to a 911 call shortly before 4:30 p.m. and located a vessel near the dam on the southeast corner of the reservoir. The injured adult was transported by CPW patrol boat to the dock, where South Metro Fire Rescue Team medics took the person to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

The incident is under active investigation and no further details are available at this time.
