Crash Saturday near Pueblo kills two
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash which occurred in Pueblo County Saturday just after noon and resulted in the deaths of two people.
According to CSP Trooper Paul Clark, a 2006 Ford motorhome was traveling southbound on Interstate 25 about seven miles south of Pueblo when it first went off the east side of the highway, then the west side before colliding with a fence and power pole. The motorhome rolled, coming to rest on its roof.
A tire blowout is suspected as contributing to the crash.
The driver, a 64-year-old woman, and a 75-year-old man who was a passenger, died in the crash.
Their names have not been released pending notification of family.
