The Colorado State Patrol is looking into a fatal crash in Custer County which occurred around 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

According to Master Trooper David Conway, a motorcyclist ran off the left side of Custer County Road 387, a rural gravel road which is not frequently used, and collided with several trees.

The rider, a 49-year-old Pueblo man, is believed to have had a medical issue which may have contributed to the crash. It is not known whether the medical issue or injuries received in the crash caused his death.

Alcohol and speed are not considered to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
