NOTICE AS TO PROPOSED ASSESSMENT

Notice is hereby given to all persons interested in the following described land in Prowers County, in the State of Colorado, Sections 8, 9, 16, 17, 20, 21, 28, and 29, Township 22 South, Range 43 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, included within Deadman Drainage Ditch District, that the Board of Directors of said District have assessed the benefits to be received by each tract of land in the District by the contemplated system of drainage adopted for said District, and have filed their budget report of such assessments in the office of the District on the 24th day of March, 2026. The Board of Directors of the Deadman Drainage District resolved the amount to be collected in the budget report, which shall be raised by special assessments upon the lands of said District in the manner previously provided by statute, and said amount shall be apportioned among the several tracts of land in proportion to the benefits originally assessed against each tract upon the permanent assessment roll of said District now on file in the office of the District and will be assessed through the office of the Prowers County Assessor.

Notice is hereby given that any District landowner may submit verbal or written objections or corrections to the District office on or before April 28th, 2026, when a special meeting will be held at the Bristol Community Building, Hwy 385, Bristol, Colorado at 10:00 am for discussion, questions or objections.
