Despite the cold, snowy weather on Wednesday, the Senior Citizen Christmas dinner at Plainview School was well attended.  The meal was dellicious and the 2nd and 3rd graders had made cute snowmen favors . 

Everyone had a very enjoyable time.  A big thank you to all that made it a very special occasion.

Melissa Parks, Plainview's Superintendent, and I attended the School Board Convention in Colorado Springs Thursday - Saturday.  We left in time on Saturday to go to Swink to watch the JV boys basketball team play Genoa-Hugo.  After the game, several people from our area went shopping and had supper before returning home.

Last Friday, Cora Coffman and her daughter, Sheila Brase went to Garden City, KS to do some shopping and had lunch with their cousin, Risa DeVaney.  On Sunday, Cora and Sheila went to Wiley to make Christmas candy with other family members. Last Tuesday, Cora, Susan Greenfield and I went to Lamar to attend our TOPS Christmas party. She's on the move again Harold!

Night: at Plainview Friday evening, enjoyed the movie and decorating Christmas cookies to eat.

The Plainview Junior High and High School teams will travel to Cheyenne Wells on Monday to play basketball.  This will be the last game until after the holidays.  Plainview's Christmas program will be this Tuesday evening.  Christmas break starts on December 16 through January 2.

Rhonda Koehn, daughter of Larry and Judy Tuttle came this past weekend to help her folks clean out her grandmother, Bernice Tuttle's home.

Susan Greenfield and David and Tina Kraft went to Lamar on Sunday to do some shopping.

Denis and Theresa Weber and I attended the Catholic Church Christmas dinner and festivities in Tribune, KS after mass on Sunday.

A large crowd attended the Christmas program at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church Sunday evening.
