The Plainview basketball team and their coach attended the Air Force vs San Jose State basketball game on Saturday at the Air Force Academy.  They enjoyed touring the Chapel at the Academy and were recognized by having their name come up on the marque during the game.  They also enjoyed having lunch at Fargo's.

Kelvin, Amy and Alex Schmidt attended the regional basketball games in La Junta Saturday.  Congratulations to the Kit Carson, Holly and Kim/Branson girls basketball teams and the South Baca, Creede and Sangre De Cristo boys basketball teams on their wins and they will be competing in the State Tournament.

Rowdy Grubb of Tribune spent the weekend with his friend, Layton Hopkins, grandson of Cheri Hopkins.

Jimmy Bendorf of Eads, joined Larry and Judy Tuttle and Denis and Theresa Weber for supper at the Mission in Lamar on Saturday evening.

Jerry Weber is still in ICU, so keep him in your prayers as he slowly improves.

Dick and I took a tour over at the lakes south of Eads Saturday. There is getting to be a lot of water in them.  Saturday evening, we went to the Trench in Tribune and enjoyed their "Italy" menu.
