East End Events

I would like to wish a very Happy Father's Day to all the dads! Guess everyone was out and about as I didn't find very many at home today.

Garold Deines and his son Jesse celebrated Father's Day fishing at Nee Noshoe. Hope you had good luck.

Weekend before last, around 40 family members attended the Woelk Reunion in Eads.

My sis Jerene DeBono and I went to Garden City last Thursday to do some shopping.

To celebrate Father's Day, Burl and Cathy Scherler joined Jeremy and Christi Stulp and children for church and dinner. The rest of the day was spent visiting and enjoying the grandkids.

Evan and Jen Hopkins and children enjoyed dinner at the home of Cheri Hopkins on Father's Day.

Former pastor Larry Gitchel and wife Barb will be here this coming weekend and Larry will preach at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church Sunday. Pastor Ernie Lambright and wife Connie are gone to Rapid City, South Dakota, to attend a Village Mission Conference.

Cheri Hopkins and I attended the movie in Tribune Sunday evening.

Harvest is getting very close. It looks ready but there is still some green in it. I expect things will start picking up towards the weekend. Our son Mark is coming Friday to help Kelvin Schmidt with harvest.

Dick, Kyle and I will fly out Wednesday for New Jersey to attend our grandson Parker Scott's High School graduation. There won't be any news next week as we don't return until late Monday.

Hope everyone has a safe and bountiful harvest!!
