A fairly quiet week for news. Everyone is busy with harvesting. Another week will finish most of it. Hope everyone had a safe and bountiful harvest.

Our son, Mark, returned home today, Sunday. He had basketball team camps to help with this coming week. Kyle went home with his dad to spend a couple weeks with his family. Sure is quiet around here.

The Huddleston clan will be gathering this coming weekend in Tribune, Kansas, for our annual family reunion. Our cousins, Jerry and Joyce Huddleston, are hosting the event this year.

Cora Coffman stopped in and visited on Friday. She had spent a few days in Scott City, Kansas, with her sister, Sally, and was on her way home.

Enjoyed seeing and visiting with Jerry Weber after church this morning. He said he is really glad to be home and is feeling pretty good.

Several people from our area enjoyed the fireworks display July 4 in Tribune, Kansas. After it was over, we watched several private displays going on around town. We didn't get there in time for the barbeque, but we enjoyed the ice cream social before the fireworks.
