The CSU Southeast Area Extension will host a free informational workshop on the upcoming Farm Bill on September 18, 2026, at the Sand and Sage Fairgrounds in Lamar.

The workshop, titled "From Farm Bill to Front Porch," begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Home EC building, 2206 Saddle Club Drive. The event is open to everyone.

Topics will include a short history of the Farm Bill, Farm Bill changes under OBBBA, Dairy Margin Coverage, Price Loss Coverage, and Agriculture Risk Coverage.
