Daniel (Dan) Albert McVey

October 19, 1960 - August 9, 2024

Dan passed away August 9, 2024, at Memorial Central Hospital in Colorado Springs. 

Dan was known as "Old Timer" in the Auctioneer world. He never met a stranger, and was super proud to call Baca County his home. Dan was incredibly proud of his family and loved them deeply. 

A time of visitation will be held August 16, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Maltbie Funeral Services, 265 W. 8th Avenue in Springfield.

Funeral service will be held August 17, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at the Baca County Fairgrounds arena with seating in the grandstands.

Interment will be in the Springfield Cemetery following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pritchett FFA and Springfield FFA.

Arrangements are under the direction of Maltbie Funeral Services.
