The life of Stephen Benson will be celebrated September 20, 2024, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 303 Navajo Street in Flagler.
Stephen died unexpectedly at Weisbrod Memorial Hospital in Eads
Stephen is survived by his wife, Laurie Benson of the family home; children, Stephen D. Benson of Burlington and Lisa (Shawn) Shryock of Burlington; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; bonus children, Jason Brown of Kit Carson and Nadine (Demond) Robbins of Aurora; sisters, Sue (Tom) Harding of Montana and Linda (Karl) Bamber-Olson of Missouri; brother, Russell (Deb) Benson of Joes; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Stephen Benson Memorial Fund in care of the Hi-Plains Bank in Flagler.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
