RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS

BOARD MEETING

December 13, 2022

The Kiowa County Hospital District Board met in special session on December 13, 2022, at 6:08 pm at the Cobblestone Inn Meeting Room. 

District Board members present were:  Mary Eikner, Pam Cole, Karl Eikenberg, Doug Uhland, and Matt Prince.   

Others present:  Shannon Dixon, Jeanette Filpi, Beth Bell, Renay Crain, and Beth Spady. 

CALL TO ORDER 

The meeting was called to order by Matt Prince, Chairman of the Board at 6:08 pm.  

PUBLIC COMMENT 

There was no public comment. 

BUDGET FY2023 

The 2023 Budget was reviewed and discussed, along with Resolutions.  A motion was made by Doug Uhland and seconded by Mary Eikner to approve the 2023 budget, the Resolution to Adopt Budget, Resolution to Set Mill Levies and Resolution to Appropriate Sums of Money for the 2023 budget as presented.  All aye. 

The Board extended a thank you to Jeanette Filpi for her assistance and expressed excitement about Beth Bell joining KCHD. 

PUBLIC COMMENT 

There was no public comment. 

ADJOURNMENT 

Mary Eikner made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Pam Cole seconded the motion.  All aye.  Meeting adjourned at 6:18 pm.
