Thursday, September 13, 2018, Deputies contacted, Michael Ramirez. Deputies confirmed Ramirez had a warrant. Deputies took Ramirez into custody and also charged him with Driving a vehicle as a habitual traffic offender. Ramirez was transported to the Prowers County Jail. | |
Sunday, September 16, 2018, Deputies responded to a report of a car being keyed. Deputies investigated the matter concerning charges of Criminal Mischief in violation of Colorado Revised Statute 18-4-501, (4)(c), a class 1 misdemeanor, and Third Degree Trespassing in violation of Colorado Revised Statute 18-4-504(1),(2)(a), a class 1 petty offense. The case has been sent to the District Attorney’s office for review due to the case involving juveniles. | |
Thursday, September 27, 2018, Deputies conducted an arrest warrant for John Lynch in violation of restraining order-criminal in violation of CRS 18-6-803.5(1)(A). On Friday, September 28, 2018 Deputies served the arrest warrant on Lynch by taking him into custody and transporting him to the Prowers County Jail. Lynch was held on $750 bond. | |
During the months of September and October 2018, Deputies conducted a search warrants on three social media accounts. On November 2, 2018, Deputies, with assistance from Prowers County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado Bureau of Investigation, and Federal Bureau of Investigation, conducted search warrants on two residences. One in Kiowa County and one in Prowers County. This matter is still under investigation by Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office. | |
Friday, Novemeber2, 2018 an arrest warrant was issued for Karl Dotey, on the charges of posting private image/harassment in violation of Colorado Revised Statute 18-7-107, Violation of protection order-criminal in violation of 18-6-803.5(1)(A), Harassment in violation of Colorado Revised Statute 18-9-111(1)(E), with Domestic Violence in violation of Colorado Revised Statute 18-6-801.6. Doety was taken into custody and transported to Prowers County Jail. | |
November 22, 2018 Deputies contacted William Lucas III on highway 96 near mile post 171 for speeding 92 mph in a posted 65 mph zone. Lucas was cited and released on model traffic code 1101(1). |
