Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office Arrests – November 2016

Tuesday, November 01, 2016, at approximately 1025 hours, a Kiowa County Sheriff’s Deputy contacted a vehicle for speeding on Highway 287, at approximately mile marker 114.

Upon further investigations, the Deputy discovered the driver, Bobby Huffman had two warrants. Both warrants were for Failure to Appear and Huffman was held on a total bond of $336.00.

Wednesday, November 09, 2016, at approximately 1010 hours, a Kiowa County Sheriff’s Deputy contacted a vehicle for a suspended license.

Upon further investigation, the driver, Derrick Marcus, was determined to also be in violation of a protection order. Marcus was transported to the Prowers County Jail for charges of CRS 42-2-138, driving vehicle with license under restraint and CRS 18-6-803.5 violation of protection order. Marcus is being held on a $750.00 Bond.

Sunday, November 20, 2016, at approximately 1841 hours, a Kiowa County Sheriff’s Deputy contacted a vehicle for speeding on Highway 287 at approximately mile marker 109.

Deputies spoke with the driver, Cory Gonzales and observed signs of impaired driving. Gonzales was charged with CRS 42-4-1301, driving a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the Prowers County Jail and held on a $1,000 bond.

Sunday, November 20, 2016, at approximately 1430 hours, Kiowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1200 block of Kerr Street, in Eads, Colorado, to attempt to locate a wanted party. Deputies located the wanted party, Christopher Cory Crow, and was taken into custody. 

Christopher Crow was booked into the Prowers County Jail, on the misdemeanor warrant for CRS 18-6-803.5(1)(a) Violation of a Protection order. He was being held on a $750.00 Bond.

Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at approximately 0047 hours, Kiowa County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 400 Block of 15th Street, in Eads.

Deputies determined that a domestic assault had occurred. Madeleine Snider was taken into custody. She was transported to Prowers County Jail where she is being held on for CRS 18-3-204, Third Degree Assault-Domestic Violence (CRS 18-6-801.6) with no bond.

Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at approximately 1550 hours, Kiowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1300 block of Maine Street, in Eads, Colorado, to attempt to locate a wanted party. Deputies located the wanted party, Jeremy Brown, whom was taken into custody. 

Jeremy Brown was booked into the Prowers County Jail, on a felony warrant for the following charges: CRS 18-8-306 Attempting to Influence a Public Servant and 18-9-111 Harassment.

Jeremy is being held on a $20,000 bond.

Saturday, November 26, 2016, at approximately 1200 hours, Kiowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 500 Block of Colorado Avenue, Sheridan Lake, to locate a wanted party, Ashley Waldren.

Deputies located Waldren and she was taken into custody. She was transported to the Prowers County Jail where she is being held on a warrant for Burglary out of Wichita, Kansas, with a $10,000 bond.

The Sheriff’s Office cautions that all persons listed here are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
