5:22 P.M.-Traffic Problem-Eads, CO
- Deputy Negley responded to Highway 287 at approximately Mile Marker 110 for a report of a dangerous driver. Negley Went to the Cheyenne County line and were unable to locate the Semi. Negley had dispatch notify CSP.
12:37 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 287 South
- Deputy Negley made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 82 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
4:13 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 287 South
- Deputy Negley made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 74 MPH in a 50 MPH zone.
4:37 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 287 South
- Deputy Negley made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 89 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
6:01 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 287 North
- Deputy Negley made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 89 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.

- Sergeant Murdock made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 78 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.

11:23 P.M.-Suspicious Person-Eads, CO
- Sergeant Murdock was called out for a suspicious person on 1200 block of Maine. Murdock was unable to locate the suspect and cleared.
April 20, 2022
1:47 P.M.-Ordinance Violation-Eads, CO
- Sergeant Murdock was dispatched to the 1300 block of Goff Street to take a noise complaint report for the rumble strips on the highway. Murdock discussed it with the construction crew and after several phone calls the company moved the rumble strips away from homes.
3:22 P.M.-Traffic Accident-Eads, CO
- Deputy Negley responded to the 300 block of East 15th Street for a report of a gas leak. Negley investigated the gas leak and deemed it a vehicle crash.
8:52 P.M.-Agency Assist-Haswell, CO
- Undersheriff Swanson responded to Highway 96 at mm 152 for a car vs deer accident. Swanson held the scene until CSP arrived.
April 22, 2022
1:14 P.M.-Traffic Problem-Chivington, CO
- Deputy Negley during routine patrol saw cattle on the roadway in the 10000 block of CR 53. Negley moved cattle back behind the fence. Negley cleared the scene.
3:07 P.M.-Traffic Accident-Sheridan Lake, CO
- Corporal Marlow responded to the 61,000 block of County Road K for a report of a single vehicle accident. Marlow investigated the accident. Marlow cleared the scene.
4:44 P.M.-Agency Assist-Haswell, CO
- Sergeant Murdock, Undersheriff Swanson, Sheriff Frazee and Deputy Negley were called out to a large grass fire at the Bent/Kiowa County line. Deputies assisted the fire department in evacuations and pinpointing hot spots.
1:08 P.M.-Agency Assist-Chivington, CO
- Sergeant Murdock, Undersheriff Swanson, Sheriff Frazee and Deputy Negley were called out for a fire on the Prowers/Kiowa County line near CR 50 - CR 60 for a report of a large grass fire moving quickly. Murdock and Negley were on scene from 1300-0110 for evacuations and flare ups.
3:54 P.M.-Traffic Stop-61000 BLOCK COUNTY RD K
- Deputy Negley made a traffic stop and issued a citation for driving without a valid license.
April 23, 2022
9:16 P.M.-Agency Assist-Brandon, CO
- Deputy Negley responded to Highway 96 Miles Marker 183 for a report of the railroad tracks on fire. Negley assisted the Fire Crew. Negley cleared the scene.
10:46 P.M.-Public Service-Eads, CO
- Deputy Negley while on routine patrol on Highway 287 Mile Marker 117 stopped for a motorist on the side of the Highway. Negley got gas for the motorist's car that ran out. Negley cleared the scene.
April 24, 2022
8:46 A.M.-Animal Problem-Haswell, CO
- Sergeant Murdock was dispatched to Highway 96 and County Road 30 for cattle on the highway but was unable to locate. It appeared a rancher was already on scene and repairing a fence.
5:41 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 96 East
- Sergeant Murdock made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 83 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
April 25, 2022
10:18 A.M.-Theft-Eads, CO
- Undersheriff Swanson responded to Weisbrod hospital for a report of Generator being stolen.
10:33 A.M.-Restraining Order Violation-Brandon, CO
- Sergeant Murdock was notified of a possible protection order violation at the 12000 block of 1st street in Brandon, Colorado. Murdock discussed the situation with the victim and noted that there wasn't currently a violation after a modification and cleared the scene.
12:18 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 287 South
- Sergeant Murdock made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 79 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
12:31 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 287 South
- Sergeant Murdock made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 69 MPH in a 55 MPH zone.
5:06 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 287 South
- Sergeant Murdock made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 79 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.

- Sergeant Murdock made a traffic stop and issued a warning.

- Kiowa County Deputies conducted U.A for an individual.

7:28 A.M.-Vehicle Lockout-Eads, CO
- Sergeant Murdock was dispatched to the 900 block of Kerr Street to unlock a vehicle.
6:30 P.M.-Agency Assist-Eads, CO
- Undersheriff Swanson responded to 1106 Goff Street for a female party that had her toilet running over. Swanson got the toilet stopped running and told her to call a plumber in the morning.
April 28, 2022
11:18 A.M.-Agency Assist-Eads, CO
- Corporal Marlow responded to Highway 287 at approximately MM 110 for a possible traffic accident. Upon arrival Marlow turned over the scene to the Colorado State Patrol. Colorado State Patrol had the drivers counter report.
2:57 P.M.-Theft-Eads, CO
- Deputy Negley responded to the 1000 block of Maine Street for a report of theft. Negley took a statement and cleared the scene.
5:00 P.M.-Traffic Violation-Eads, CO
- Deputy Negley while on routine patrol initiated a traffic stop on the 1500 block of South Rittgers Street in Eads. Negley issued a summons to Anthony Gaona out of Longmont, Colorado Negley for 42-2-101(1) Drove Vehicle Without a Valid License, 42-4-1409(3) Failed to Present Insurance upon Request, 42-3-121(1)(a) failed to display valid Registration and 42-3-133(1)(b) displays or possesses fictitious plates.
6:51 P.M.-911 Hang-up- Brandon, CO
- Deputy Negley responded to Brandon for a 911 misdial in the Brandon, Colorado area. Negley was unable to make contact with anyone on the property. Deputies cleared the scene.
8:53 P.M.-Civil Standby- Eads, CO
- Deputy Negley responded to the 800 block of Kerr Street in Eads for a Civil Standby. Negley cleared the scene.
7:23 A.M.-Urinalysis-Eads, CO
- Kiowa County Deputies conducted U.A for an individual.
April 29, 2022
3:54 A.M.-Traffic Problem-Eads, CO
- Deputy Negley responded to Highway 287 at approximately Mile Marker 112 for a report of a dead animal in the highway. Negley moved the animal off the roadway. Negley cleared the scene.
10:53 A.M.-Stolen Property-Eads, CO
- Deputy Negley was called to the 1300 block of Kerr Street in Eads for a report of a stolen pickup and carport. Pending victim cooperation for further investigation.
4:16 P.M.-Agency Assist-Prowers County
- Corporal Marlow responded to Highway 50 mile marker 427 for an agency assist. Upon arrival Marlow assisted the Colorado State Patrol and cleared the scene.
9:03 P.M.-911-Hangup-Eads, CO
- Deputy Negley responded to the 1200 block of Kerr Street in Eads for a 911 misdial. Negley checked on individuals at the residence and everything was okay. Negley cleared the scene.
1:16 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 287 South
- Deputy Negley made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 89 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
6:47 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 96 East
- Deputy Negley made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 85 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
7:17 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 287 South
- Deputy Negley made a traffic stop and issued a citation for driving vehicle without a valid drivers license.
April 30, 2022
6:57 P.M.-DUI-Eads, CO
- Sergeant Murdock responded to NB Highway 287 for a report of a reckless driver. Murdock clocked the vehicle in at 96 MPH in a posted 65 MPH, and 79 MPH in a 50 MPH construction zone and identified signs of impairment. Murdock arrested the suspect on DUI-D after roadsides and a blood drawl and arrested Pierce Anthony Johnson from Stockton, California and took him to Bent County Jail and held on $1,000 bond. Johnson was booked in on 42-4-1301(1)(a) Driving while Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs and 42-4-1101 (1)(8) Speeding 25+ in a construction zone.
8:50 P.M.-Traffic Problem-Eads, CO
- Deputy Negley while on routine patrol saw debris on the roadway. Negley moved the road debris. Negley cleared the scene.
5:18 P.M.-Traffic Stop-Highway 287 South
- Deputy Negley made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 89 MPH in a 65 MPH zone
