Child Support Commission

The commission issues a report every four years to the Governor and the General Assembly on the results of a review of child support guidelines and recommends potential statutory changes.

for terms expiring July 1, 2025:

·       Jill Brady of Colorado Springs, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the judiciary, occasioned by the resignation of Sarah Elizabeth Lane of La Junta, Colorado appointed;

·       Robert Kurtz of Littleton, Colorado, to serve as an interested party, occasioned by the resignation of Charlene Emory of Denver, Colorado, appointed.

Colorado Coordinating Council For The Interstate Compact On Educational Opportunity For Military Children

The purpose of the compact is to remove barriers to educational success imposed on children of military families because of frequent moves and deployment of their parents.

for terms expiring October 30, 2026:

·       Benjamin Zumbahlen of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of other offices and stakeholder groups, appointed;

·       Sean Brown of Colorado Springs, Colorado, to serve as the Garrison Commander, appointed;

·       Keith Owen of Fountain, Colorado, to serve as the Compact Commissioner, reappointed.

Colorado Dental Board

The Colorado Dental Board makes rules and regulations, examines and licenses dentists and dental hygienists, and conducts hearings regarding the suspension or revocation of licenses.

for a term expiring January 1, 2025:

·       Olivia Bauer of Timnath, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the public, occasioned by the resignation of Kaylanne Chandler of Denver, Colorado, appointed.

Colorado Disability Funding Committee

The Colorado Disability Funding Committee accepts and reviews proposals and funds projects or programs that study or pilot new and innovative ideas that will lead to an improved quality of life or increased independence for persons with disabilities. The Committee accepts proposals from nonprofit entities to aid persons with disabilities in accessing disability benefits.

for terms expiring August 12, 2025:

·       Jacob Pellinen, MD, of Centennial, Colorado, to serve as a representative of someone in the practice of medicine, appointed;

·       Martha Mason of Hesperus, Colorado, to serve as a person with a disability, appointed.

·       Andrew Ouellete of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a person with a disability, appointed;

·       Craig Simon of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a person with a disability and knowledge of nonprofit entities and managing nonprofit entities.

Colorado Secure Savings Program Board

Colorado Secure Savings Program Board was created to help establish a state-facilitated, automatic enrollment IRA plan, coupled with the greater use of financial education tools in the state for Colorado workers whose employers do not provide this service. It also develops an investment policy statement and oversees the investment of the funds contributed to accounts in the program.

for a term expiring September 15, 2024:

·       Jennifer Luce of Castle Rock, Colorado to serve as a representative with expertise in investment banking or retirement savings plan administration and as a representative of a federally chartered bank, occasioned by the resignation of John Ikard of Littleton, Colorado, appointed.

Council of Advisors on Consumer Credit

The Council of Advisors on Consumer Credit advises and consults with the assistant attorney general concerning the Attorney General’s powers under the consumer credit code.

Developmental Disabilities Council

The Developmental Disabilities Council is responsible for coordinating services and advocating for persons with developmental disabilities.

for terms expiring July 1, 2025:

·       Gail Lott of Colorado Springs, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a state agency that administers funds provided under the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, appointed;

·       Timothy DaGiau of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a person with developmental disabilities, appointed;

·       Sara Lovato of Grand Junction, Colorado, to serve as a family member of an institutionalized person with mentally impairing developmental disabilities;

·       Bruce Cline of Littleton, Colorado, to serve as a parent/guardian of a child with developmental disabilities;

·       Jennifer Penhale of Colorado Springs, Colorado, to serve as a parent, guardian, or immediate family member of an individual with “mentally impairing” developmental disabilities;

·       Hanni Raley of Westminster, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a private-nonprofit group concerned with services and support for persons with developmental disabilities;

·       LaTonya Reeves of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a person with developmental disabilities, appointed.

Governor’s Revenue Estimating Advisory Committee

The Governor's Revenue Estimating Advisory Committee was created to assist the Office of State Planning and Budgeting (OSBP) project the State’s annual revenue more effectively. The OSBP must provide the General Assembly with a revenue estimate for the fiscal year in September.

for a term expiring October 1, 2024:

·       Meredith Moon of Denver, Colorado, to serve as an employee of the Office of State Planning and Budgeting, occasioned by the resignation of Luke Teater of Denver, Colorado, appointed.

Petroleum Storage Tank Advisory Committee

The Petroleum Storage Tank Advisory Committee establishes procedures, practices, and policies governing the process for applying to the underground storage tank fund.  The Fund reimburses eligible applicants for allowable costs in cleaning up petroleum contamination from petroleum storage tanks.

for terms expiring October 16, 2025:

·       David Brett Redd of Whitewater, Colorado, to serve as a representative of companies that conduct corrective action, reappointed;

·       Scott D. Paulson of Centennial, Colorado, to serve as a representative of independent retail outlets, reappointed;

·       Jennifer Steffes of Morrison, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the public, appointed.

State Board of Accountancy

The Board regulates public accountants and reviews applications, gives examinations, grants certificates and permits, and acts on complaints against certified public accountants.

for a term expiring August 1, 2026:

·       Jo Umano of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a public member, occasioned by the resignation of Ronald Collins of Longmont, Colorado, appointed.

State Board of Health

The State Board of Health advises the Executive Director of the Department of Public Health and Environment on all matters relating to public health and determines policies for the department to follow in administering and enforcing the public health laws of the state.

for terms expiring March 1, 2025:

·       Dr. Christina Suh of Aurora, Colorado, a resident of the Sixth Congressional District and a Democrat, occasioned by the resignation of Shawn Turk of Centennial, Colorado, appointed;

·       Jeff Kuhr, PhD of Grand Junction, Colorado, a resident of the Third Congressional District and a Republican, occasioned by the resignation of Patricia Hammon of Eagle, Colorado, appointed.

State Board of Pharmacy

The State Board of Pharmacy examines applicants, holds disciplinary hearings to issue and revoke pharmaceutical licenses, and inspects pharmacies.

for a term expiring July 1, 2025:

·       Eric Frazer of Grand Junction, Colorado, to serve as a licensed pharmacist occasioned by the resignation of Jasjit Gill of Denver, Colorado, appointed.

State Board of the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund

The State Board of the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund uses a portion of Colorado Lottery proceeds to help preserve and enhance the State’s parks, trails, wildlife, rivers, and open spaces. The Board awards competitive grants to local governments and land trusts, and makes investments through Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

for a term expiring April 15, 2025:

·       Krithika Prashant of Colorado Springs, Colorado to serve as an Unaffiliated resident of the Fifth Congressional District, occasioned by the resignation of Antonio Rosendo of Colorado Springs, Colorado, appointed.

State Veterinary Education Loan Repayment Council

The Council is created to assist veterinarians with education loan repayments in exchange for providing veterinary services in rural areas of the state in need of veterinary services. Repayments from the fund to eligible veterinarians who have graduated from an accredited doctor of veterinary medicine school and agree to practice veterinary medicine for up to 4 years in a rural area of the state that is experiencing a shortage of veterinarians that the council designates for participation in the program. 

for terms expiring October 1, 2026:

·       Dr. John Raftopoulos of Craig, Colorado, to represent the interests of the Colorado Livestock industries, appointed;

·       Melinda Frye, BS, DVM, MS, PhD of Fort Collins, Colorado, to serve as a member of the faculty or staff at the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, reappointed;

·       Morgan McCarty of Broomfield, Colorado, to serve as the Commissioner of Agriculture’s designee, reappointed.
