I would like to respond to the article printed in the Kiowa County Press on Friday, 01/12/2024. A Margaret Foster signed her name at the end of her OPINIONS. [Note: Margaret Foster's letter to the editor can be read here.]

AN OPINION IS A VIEW OR JUDGEMENT ABOUT SOMETHING NOT NECESSARILY BASED ON FACT OR KNOWLEDGE.

On January 6th three years ago I was watching President Donald J. Trump speaking in our Capitol Washington DC. Somehow the TV channel was changed to another channel. A bus had pulled up in front of the Capital Building and people were departing from the bus. They were carrying ladders and other items. I watched as they started to climb up the outside of the building. I thought it would be a lot easier if they just Walked up the Steps. I have been to Washington DC multiple times with Youth Groups and toured the Capitol Building. We were in the Rotunda and then were allowed to view the Senate and the House areas. I changed my TV channel back to hear Trump speak. I believe he was more than a mile from the Capital. After the speech ended, I went back to the other channel. People were walking and a police woman was moving them toward the Capitol Building. I never saw some of these scenes again on TV until this past Sunday. On the Dish Network channel 219, The Real American Voice, was airing a Jan 6 - In Real Time. I was able to see for the second time what I had viewed over 3 years ago. The FACTS are on film for all to see. They have been kept from us all this time.

In Margaret Foster's article she was claiming that "Donald Trump and his allies engaged in a month-long criminal conspiracy after the 2020 Election". She claimed, "they spread lies about Voter fraud and used those lies to put pressure on state officials to illegally overturn election results". Margaret Foster went on to write, " When their scheme to interfere with Congress's certification of the 2020 election results failed, Trump and his co-conspirators incited a violent mob to attack the U S Capitol on Jan 6, 2021". There was a pre-plan to attack the Capitol. It was just like the attacks we saw on TV that happened to our Northwestern cities. My family was in Oglala, NE when a busload pulled into their small town. A lady had a knife pulled on her in her car. The male demanding her to do something as she pulled her gun and called the police. She held him at bay until the police arrived. The bus pulled out shortly thereafter. Later a story was told about a bus pulling into Burlington, CO. They asked the sheriff if they could be in their Fair Parade. He said they could, but he also pointed out that all those pickups parked along the streets were armed with guns and they would be prone to use them if necessary. It was told that the Sheriff said the parade was the best one if ever had. There was another bus incident in Colorado where a busload was going to set up in a local park. The Sheriff called in his mounted posse and the bus load moved on. Back to the certification of the 2020 election results. Our Founding Fathers, one of whom I am a direct decedent, who wrote the Constitution and our Bill of Rights. They wanted elected officials to be honest and have the interest and well being of all the people their purpose. There could be no errors in the voting process. It has been said that it is easier to cheat with voting machines than with paper ballots. There should be only one ballot cast per eligible voter. Over the past three years hard working honest people have proven to me that their was cheating in the 2020 election. Recently judges have been ordering recounts. I can hardly wait for the results.

Margaret Foster goes on to write that MAGA Republicans have continued to assault our democracy introducing RADICAL voter suppression bills in our congress and state legislatures, spreading false election conspiracy theories, and threatening to overturn election results they disagree with. I believe the MAGA VOTERS WANT THEIR VOTE COUNTED FAIRLY, TIMELY AND ACCURATELY. I had to prove with my birth certificate that I was born in the United States of America to register to vote. I believe that only legal citizens can be on the voter rolls. You had to be registered a month ahead of the election date, no same day registrations. I would like for Margaret Foster to explain the difference between a Republic and a Democracy.

Our first Republican vote for 2024 candidates was held January 15th by the State of Iowa. Our former President Donald J. Trump was front runner capturing over 50% of votes cast. MAGA Voters braved a harsh cold day to put his name on the ballot. We all remember how hard he worked for our America.

Margaret Foster went on to write about what Trump would do if he was reelected. She wrote 'Trump said if he was reelected, he would attempt to be a dictator on day one.” I also heard him say he would be a dictator for one day on day one. He would do all the things that needed to be done ASAP like Close Our Borders, Drill for fuel to vehicles, gas cooking stoves, furnaces, run our power plants for electricity. He would lower taxes, create more jobs, send all illegals back to their homes, stop drug trafficking, human trafficking and put honest hard working people to work in the government. Sounded to me like he would be a very busy President. If I'm still able and it's god's will, I for sure will cast my vote for Donald J Trump. Sorry Margaret, but you just rubbed my fur the wrong way for the second time. I almost responded a year ago when I read your letter the first time. I also have a question for you. If you hate all the MAGA people so much, why did you leave Denver and move to MAGA country?
