Automobile Theft Prevention Board

The Automobile Theft Prevention Board shall solicit and review applications for grants that assist in improving and supporting automobile theft prevention programs or programs for the enforcement or prosecution of automobile theft crimes through statewide planning and coordination.

Board of Landscape Architects

The Board of Landscape Architects is charged with the examination and licensing of landscape architects in the state.

  • Sara Dent, NHA, MBA, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, not a licensed landscape architect nor practicing landscape architecture in any jurisdiction; does not have a current or prior significant personal or financial interest in the practice of landscape architecture; and a resident of the state of Colorado, occasioned by the resignation of Zoe Hill, NP, PhD, of Lakewood, Colorado, appointed.

Colorado Anti Discrimination Act Rewrite Subcommittee

The Task Force on the Rights of Coloradans with Disabilities brings together appropriate stakeholders, experts and impacted groups to study and make recommendations concerning issues related to persons with disabilities. The CADA (Colorado Anti Discrimination Act) Rewrite Subcommittee study the current CADA statutes concerning the civil rights of persons with disabilities and make recommendations for a thorough revision and rewrite to improve clarity, ensure the civil rights of Coloradans are protected, and ensure the protections are enforceable.

Colorado Banking Board

The Banking Board is the policy-making and rule-making authority for the Division of Banking, and has the authority to make final decisions with respect to the taking of possession, liquidation, or reorganization of banks.

  • Kimberly Gardner of Centennial, Colorado, to serve as an executive officer of a trust company, occasioned by the resignation of Laura Gene Miller of Littleton, Colorado, appointed.

Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority Board of Directors

The Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority issues bonds to provide affordable financing for educational and cultural buildings and equipment owned by non-profit institutions.

for a term expiring June 30, 2027:

  • Indira Duggirala of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, appointed.

Colorado Housing and Finance Authority Board of Directors

The CHFA Board serves as the governing board of the authority.  The authority works to procure public monies through the issuance of bonds to assist both private enterprises and governmental entities in meeting housing needs for low-income and moderate-income families.

for a term expiring July 1, 2025:

  • Stefka Fanchi of Lakewood, Colorado, to represent the public, occasioned by the resignation of Nathan Peterson of Evergreen, Colorado, appointed.

Denver Metropolitan Major League Stadium District Board

The Board of Directors is responsible for the governance of the District. The District owns Coors Field and has oversight of the lease to the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club and its operation of the ballpark.

Governor’s Commission on Community Service

The Commission shall recommend to the Governor a comprehensive national and community service plan for the state that is developed through an open and public process and updated annually.  The plan shall address the state’s needs in the areas of school safety, preventing youth violence, literacy and mentoring or disadvantaged youth.  The Commission also administers funds received from the Corporation on National and Community Service.

for terms expiring August 24, 2026:

  • Ashley Farmer-Hanson of Castle Rock, Colorado, to represent knowledge of community service, reappointed;
  • Etta Jean Sykes of McClave, Colorado, to represent local government, reappointed;

Ground Water Commission

The Commission determines the boundaries of designated ground water basins by geographic description and considers well permit applications for persons desiring to appropriate designated ground water for beneficial use.  The Commission is responsible for the development of policies and procedures for maximum economic development, as well as the protection of the vested rights of the designated ground water basins of the state.

for a term expiring May 1, 2027:

  • Todd Denning of Keenesburg, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the Lost Creek Designated Ground Water Basin and resident agriculturist, appointed.

History, Culture, and Social Contributions in Education Commission

The History, Culture, and Social Contributions in Education Commission is established to make recommendations to the state board of education when the state board performs its scheduled six year review of education standard so that those standards and programs accurately reflect the history, culture, social contributions, and civil government of the United States and Colorado, including the contributions and influence of American Indians, Latinos, African Americans, Asian Americans, and the intersectionality of significant social and cultural features within these communities.

for terms expiring August 1, 2025:

  • Jason Lester of Aurora, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the African American community, occasioned by the resignation of Andrea Johnson of Aurora, Colorado, appointed;

Human Trafficking Council

The purpose of the Council is to bring together leadership from community-based and statewide anti-trafficking efforts, to build and enhance collaboration among communities and counties within the state, to establish and improve comprehensive services for victims and survivors of human trafficking, to assist in the successful prosecution of human traffickers, and to help prevent human trafficking in Colorado.

for terms expiring December 31, 2024:

  • Gina Lopez of Towaoc, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a statewide coalition for victims of sexual assault occasioned by the resignation of Jordan Rhodes of Colorado Springs, Colorado, appointed;
  • Dan Casey of Broomfield, Colorado, to serve as an urban director of a county human services department, occasioned by the resignation of Katie McDougal of Littleton, Colorado, appointed.

State Board of Accountancy

The State Board of Accountancy regulates public accountants and reviews applications, gives examinations, grants certificates and permits, and acts on complaints against certified public accountants.

  • Jennifer Wheeler-Davis, PharmD, MBA of Fraser, Colorado, to serve as a public member, occasioned by the resignation of Jo Umano of Denver, Colorado, appointed.

State Board of Optometry

The State Board of Optometry sets rules and regulations for administering examinations and conducts hearings to revoke, suspend, deny or reissue licenses.

State Board of Unlicensed Psychotherapists

The Board of Unlicensed Psychotherapists is a licensing and disciplinary board that oversees licensed psychologists in the state.

State Board of Veterinary Medicine

The State Board of Veterinary Medicine regulates and licenses veterinarians in the State of Colorado. The Board establishes and enforces professional standards through the development and maintenance of rules and policies, ensuring that only qualified persons are licensed to provide veterinary care, and that violators of the laws and rules regulating veterinary medicine are sanctioned as appropriate.

State Historical Society

The Board of Directors of the State Historical Society is the governing body for the State Historical Society. The Society is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization and an agency of the State of Colorado under the Department of Higher Education. It offers public access to cultural and heritage resources of Colorado, including statewide museums and special programs for individuals and families, collection stewardship of Colorado’s historic treasures, educational resources for schools, students and teachers, and services related to preservation, archaeology and history.

State Plumbing Board

The State Plumbing Board grants licenses to plumbers, and amends and enforces rules and regulations for the examination and licensure of plumbers.

  • Charles Lee of Grand Junction, Colorado, a person engaged in the construction of residential or commercial buildings as a plumbing contractor, occasioned by the resignation of Justin Guerrero of Greenwood Village, Colorado, appointed;

Wild Horse Working Group

The Wild Horse Working Group shall identify and pursue human, nonlethal alternatives for wild horses that are taken off-range in Colorado or held in federal holding facilities; a state wild horse preserve; wild horse sanctuaries or creative collaborations with wild horse sanctuaries; and opportunities for partnerships with the state. This includes programs created by the Governor’s Commission on Community Service and the Department of Corrections Program, creative partnerships with state programs and opportunities for long-term care and management of nonfederal wild or unclaimed horses currently in Colorado.
