Northwestern Bent County in southeastern Colorado... * Until 700 PM MDT. * At 636 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Blue Lake, or 26 miles northeast of North La Junta, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation, but this storm has had a history of producing tornadoes. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.
