- Kit Carson Clips- Marilyn White: We were minus some Bunko players due to the rain and muddy roads.
- Wild Horse Roundup- Curtis Schrimp: I couldn’t believe it the ground was wet and still raining. Before it stopped, we had over two inches, twice as much as any rain this past summer.
- About Town- Melissa Peterson-Doris Lessenden: We’ve had several gorgeous autumn days, where the sun shone bright and air was warm and the wind was picking on someone else for a change.

- USDA Update- Rod Johnson: A great milo crop took a beating as high winds swept across eastern Colorado all day. Now the unpleasant ask of harvest off the ground begins.

- Sometimes you must tear down first before construction. The old garage was taken down and the ground leveled were necessary in building the new Eads Senior Citizen Building Complex.

- Eads High School is ranked 5th in Class A football according to Colorado Sidelines, official newspaper for Colorado interscholastic sports.
- A recent survey by the Colorado Game, Fish, and Parks Division indicates very good fish population are present in the lakes on the Lower Arkansas River drainage.
