The Prowers County Board of County Commissioners is hosting a free community film screening October 12, 2026, at the Holly Pride Center, 201 South Main Street, Holly, Colorado, focused on mental health challenges facing farmers and ranchers.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and features the film "Legacy," which presents real Colorado stories about the emotional and financial pressures of agricultural life, including paying bills, caring for livestock and crops, retirement planning, and estate concerns.

Attendees will learn about mental health resources available in the community. Free tickets must be reserved by October 5, 2026, through the Prowers County Administration Office.
