Ready to break 100? - Kiowa County weather forecast for June 27, 2019
Hot temperatures continue across Kiowa County Thursday as high 90s return, with the potential to break 100 in some areas.
Sunny skies and a few clouds are expected for the day. Most of the county can look for upper 90s, while Arlington may potentially break 100. Light wind out of the south to southwest is predicted, with a few gusts up to 15 miles per hour.
Overnight, temperatures will fall to the low 60s
A slight chance of thunderstorms is predicted for the early evening hours, though most of Kiowa County will remain dry.
Conditions are expected to be similar through Sunday before dropping back to the low 90s Monday for the start of a cooler period.

Elsewhere in Colorado, southwest and west central Colorado will be under a red flag warning for high fire danger starting at noon and continuing through 8:00 p.m. Friday. High temperatures, gusty wind, low humidity and dry fuel will create conditions favorable for fire starts.
