Stock Show University returns to help 4-H and FFA members
WW Feed and Supply in La Junta will be hosting a “Stock Show University” June 1-2 to help youth in 4-H and FFA programs perfect their grooming and showmanship skills in preparation for the annual stock show held in Denver each January. Beginners, as well as seasoned showmen, will learn tips for the best presentation of their animals.
“We enjoy providing this hands-on opportunity to 4-H and FFA youth in southeast Colorado,” said Susan Russell, WW Feed and Supply co-owner. “This is a perfect non-competitive environment for the beef project youth to refine their grooming and showmanship skills.”
Sullivan Supply’s “Stock Show University” is a part of WW Feed and Supply’s 2019 free clinic. It will focus on showmanship, daily hair and animal care, show day grooming, and how to achieve that championship look, taught by the “best professors in the business.”
