Not much to ponder, still in recovery mode that impacts full cognitive ability. Will visit cardiologist Tuesday and probably get a new treatment regimen. In a future column, I will attempt to explain why grumpy old men are their own nemesis.

Spring is here, time change was Sunday, calving will start soon, trust that the market is good. With everything green, keep an eye out for wild asparagus (brightens risotto) and for dandelions (root for good tea, above ground for spicing up a salad). 

Dr. Enoch Bergman, DVM. was born, raised and educated in eastern Colorado and is an associate with Swan’s Veterinary Services in Esperance, New South Wales, Australia, owns a farm, and set up a commercial lab to combat Bovine Viral Diarrhea virus (BVDV). He is responsible for upgrading numbers and quality of beef exported from Australia. His mission statement could “Build a better cow through rebreeding, artificial insemination, pregnancy checking and eliminating viruses.”
