Town of Eads Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes -  February 13, 2018

The Regular Meeting of the Town of Eads Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Shields, Tuesday February 13, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Hall. Robin Fox, Town Clerk, took roll call:

Mayor – Joe D. Shields- present Trustees – Present – Justin McLoud, Kathy McCracken, Terry Riley, Lisa Trigilio, and Priscilla Waggoner Absent – Dennis Pearson

Town Clerk- Robin Fox –Present Assistant Clerk- Shealynn McCracken-Present  Director of Public Works- Van Brown- Absent (Paul Kelley-Present)

Audiences/Public Comment Period –

Minutes­- Terry Riley moved to approve the minutes as amended. Kathy McCracken seconded, motion passed unanimously.

Approval of Bills – The finance committee reviewed the bills prior to the meeting. Kathy McCracken moved to approve payment of the bills in the packet, as amended and presented at the meeting. Justin McLoud seconded, the motion passed unanimously.

New Business:

Building Permit- Lisa Trigilio moved to approve the three building permits. Justin McLoud seconded, motion passed unanimously.

New Clothing Allowance- The board approved the new clothing allowance, but requested to have a requirement of how long the employee has to be here before they receive the clothing allowance.

Ordinance 404- Terry Riley moved to approve Ordinance 404, Priscilla Waggoner seconded, motion passed unanimously.

Street Lights- Lisa Trigilio moved to approve to have a street light put up on North West corner of Rittgers Street and Lowell Street. Priscilla Waggoner seconded, motion passed unanimously.

Mandy Adamson- Mandy Adamson and COOP board members were present to talk about the placement of their dumpsters at Hometown Gas and Grill. Lisa Trigilio moved to have the dumpsters moved for short term due to fire code. Lisa also moved to have the town call 15 to 30 minutes before they come to dump the dumpsters. Priscilla Waggoner seconded, motion passed unanimously. Kathy McCracken and Justin McLoud abstained.

Sylvia Shields- Joe Shields left the meeting at 5:50 p.m. Sylvia Shields was presented with the contract agreement between her and the board.
