The Regular Meeting of the Town of Eads Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Shields, Tuesday November 13, 2018 at 5:01 p.m. in the Town Hall. Shealynn McCracken, Assistant Town Clerk, took roll call:

• Mayor – Joe D. Shields- present
• Trustees – Present –Kathy McCracken, Terry Riley, Dennis Pearson, and Lisa Trigilio
• Absent – Justin McLoud and Priscilla Waggoner
• Town Clerk- Robin Fox –Absent
• Assistant Clerk- Shealynn McCracken-Present
• Director of Public Works- Van Brown- Present

Audiences/Public Comment Period

Minutes­- Dennis Pearson moved to approve the minutes. Terry Riley seconded, motion passed unanimously. 

Approval of Bills – The finance committee reviewed the bills prior to the meeting. Kathy McCracken moved to approve the payment of the bills in the packet. Lisa Trigilio seconded, motion passed unanimously.

New Business:

Sheriff Casey Sheridan- Sheriff Casey Sheridan was present at the board meeting to let the board members look at the new patrol car. 

Water Rates- There was discussion to do a utility rate increase. Lisa Trigilio moved to increase the water and sewer by 3% and the sanitation by $6 to cover cost of being charged at the landfill. Terry Riley seconded, motion passed unanimously. 

New Employee- The director of public works requested the board to approve to let him hire another full time employee. Kathy McCracken moved to allow the director of public works to hire another full time employee. Dennis Pearson seconded, motion passed unanimously. 

Bring Up Items:

Clean Up the Town- Lisa Trigilio asked information about other properties that she has noticed that may need cleaned up. 

Adjourn- Terry Riley moved to adjourn. Lisa Trigilio seconded, motion passed unanimously.
