The meeting was done as an email. This topic was discussed in the original town meeting, Tuck wanted to see what GMS had to say and thoughts.

Trent called GMS and found out it could cost 25,000 to 30,000 or more to do the study; they would also need to see the area in a flood. It would be 6 months to start the study and a year before we could have any answers.

The email was sent out and everyone agreed the cost of the drain pans at $7500.00 each was a better and quicker way to get this problem taken care of before we ended up with a lawsuit from a home owner. The board all agreed that we need to get this going sooner than later. We also have the man power as of now to get the work done.

Kathy McCracken voted Yes, Stephanie Sewell voted Yes, Dennis Pearson voted Yes, Tuck Liebl did not feel comfortable voting on this at this time, Fred Derby, said he agreed it needs done but abstained from voting due to personal issue. Rich O’Brian voted Yes and came in and wrote his Yes. 5 Yes and 1 No at this time.

Joe Shields, Mayor
