• The Kiowa County Public Library is having a Buy One Get One Free Book Sale until May 31

• Kiowa County Public Library District’s Summer Reading Program. Summer Reading is for children ages 3-12 and will be July 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, & 27 from 1:00-2:30 PM at the library. Early registration begins on June 19.

• Fun Tote Program now is a great time!  The program is designed for ages 0 to 8 years old.  The totes are available for check out at the Kiowa County Library.

• The Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site have switch to its summer schedule The park will open daily from 9 am to 4 pm, seven days a week.  This schedule will remain in effect through November 30, 2017.    The park will remain open for all three summer federal holidays – Memorial Day (May 29th), Fourth of July (July 4th), and the Labor Day (September 4th).
