Xcel Energy Transmission Project Public Hearing set for Wednesday

The Xcel Energy Transmission Project Public Hearing is scheduled for this Wednesday, November 9th at 10:00 a.m.. It will be at the meeting room in the lower level of the Courthouse in Eads. I apologize to those who wish to attend virtually, but due to the technical issues of having the presentation and our inability to accommodate any online attendees who would want to speak at the hearing, we will offer attendance in person only. If you are unable to attend but would like your comment read at the hearing please reply to this email with your statement.
We are at the close of the 1041 permit process for this project and have found the permit complete, having all of the required documentation for the permit application. A copy of Xcel's final 1041 permit and the Kiowa County Staff Recommendations can be found on our website at https://kiowacounty.colorado.gov/government/departments/land-use
