Ag stats: 4th quarter 2021 milk production highlights – USDA mountain states region
Arizona dairy herds produced 1.17 billion pounds of milk during the October - December quarter, down 3.0 percent from the previous year.
Colorado dairy herds produced 1.30 billion pounds of milk during the October - December quarter, down 0.2 percent from the previous year.
Montana dairy herds produced 59.0 million pounds of milk during the October - December quarter, down 4.8 percent from the previous year.
New Mexico dairy herds produced 1.78 billion pounds of milk during the October - December quarter, down 13.5 percent from the previous year.
Utah dairy herds produced 539.0 million pounds of milk during the October - December quarter, down 1.6 percent from the previous year.
Wyoming dairy herds produced 56.2 million pounds of milk during the October - December quarter, up 8.5 percent from the previous year.
UNITED STATES HIGHLIGHTS
Milk production in the United States during the October - December quarter totaled 55.5 billion pounds, down 0.1 percent from the October - December quarter last year.
