Author Kellen Cutsforth appearing at the July Santa Fe Trail Association meeting

The Bent's Fort Chapter of the Santa Fe Trail Association will be hosting Kellen Cutsforth at its meeting in Rocky Ford Saturday.

Cutsforth is a western author and columnist who has published books on the American West, including Buffalo Bill, Boozers, Brothels, and Bare-Knuckle Brawlers andBuffalo Bill's Wild West Coloring Book. He also co-authored Old West Showdown: Two Authors Wrangle over the Truth about the Mythic Old West and is a featured columnist for Roundup magazine.

Cutsforth's presentation, titled "Boozers, Brothels, and Bare-Knuckle Brawlers: The Story of Buffalo Bill's Little-Known Business Partner," begins at 1:00 p.m. July 13 at the Grand Theatre, 405 South Main Street in Rocky Ford.

The presentation is free to the public.
