Book authors will be in Eads March 1

Chuck Bowen and Mike Bowen, authors of We Found the Lost Sand Creek Site, will be at JJ’s Restaurant in Eads March 1 at 10:00 a.m. to discuss their book.
Chuck is a member of the Prowers County Historical Society, the Smoky Hill Trail Association, Civil War & Indian Wars Relic Identification, and the Santa Fe Trail Association Bent’s Fort Chapter.
Chuck’s son, Mike, has a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado Christian University and is a former editor and reporter of a weekly newspaper.
Artifacts discovered at their ranch near the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site will be on display.
JJ’s Restaurant is located at 505 E. 15th St in Eads.
