Due to the closure of Interstate 25 north of Pueblo, service on the Bustang Outrider route between Pueblo and Colorado Springs has been suspended until further notice.

Northbound and southbound I-25 was closed to all traffic just north of Pueblo after a coal train derailed and the railroad bridge collapsed over the highway Sunday afternoon.

Since the detour route via US 50 and CO 115 is an additional 58 miles, it would impact scheduled connections with other Bustang and Outrider routes in Pueblo and Colorado Springs. 

At this time, the Colorado Department of Transportation does not know when I-25 will reopen, allowing Outrider to resume service between both cities. 

The Outrider runs one roundtrip between Lamar, Pueblo, and Colorado Springs, seven days a week.
