March 22 

  • Vin Inspection - Sheriff's Office completed 2 vin inspections. 
  • Traffic Complaint - Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a traffic complaint, call was transferred to CSP. Vandalism- Deputies responded to a vandalism call. Deputies spoke with parties involved. A case was opened. 
  • Wanted Party - Deputies made a felony arrest. 
  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 5 traffic Stops, issued 3 citations and 2 warnings.  

March 23

  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 1traffic stop and issued 1 citation. 
  • Traffic Complaint - Sheriff's office received a call regarding a traffic complaint. Call was transferred to CSP. 
  • Alarm - Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a fire alarm. Determined to be a false alarm. 

March 24

  • Motorist assist - Deputies assisted a motorist. 
  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 6 traffic stops issued 5 citations and 1 warning. 
  • Traffic Complaint - Deputies responded to a traffic complaint. Call was also transferred to CSP. 
  • Welfare Check - Deputies completed a welfare check. 
  • Burglary - Deputies responded to a burglary. Deputies spoke to parties involved false alarm. 
  • Juvenile complaint - Deputies responded to a juvenile complaint. Deputies spoke to all parties involved. 

March 25

  • Road Debris - Undersheriff Buchanan responded to and removed road debris. 
  • Civil - Deputies responded to a civil matter and spoke with all parties involved. 
  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 6 traffic stops and issued 4 citations and 2 warnings. 
  • Wanted Party - Deputies made 1 arrest. 
  • Motorist Assist - Deputies assisted a motorist. 
  • Traffic Complaint - Sheriff's Office received 2 calls regarding traffic complaints. Calls were transferred to CSP. 

March 26

  • Suspicious Person - Undersheriff Buchanan responded to a suspicious person. Undersheriff spoke with the party. 
  • Agency Assist - Undersheriff Buchanan responded to an agency assist and assisted CSP. 
  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 21 traffic stops and issued 7 citations and 14 warnings. 
  • Livestock - Deputies responded to a livestock complaint. Livestock owner was notified. 

March 27

  • Vin Inspection - Deputies completed a vin inspection. 
  • Civil Standby - Deputies completed a civil standby. 
  • Theft - Sheriff's office received a call regarding a theft.  
  • Animal complaint - Deputies responded to an animal complaint, deputies spoke with animal owners. 
  • Animal Complaint - Sheriff's Office received a call regarding an animal complaint. Town of Cheyenne Wells was notified. 
  • Traffic Complaint - Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a traffic complaint, call was transferred to CSP. 
  • Motorist Assist - Deputies assisted a motorist. 
  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 17 traffic stops, issued 7 citations and 10 warnings. 

March 28

  • Traffic Complaint - Deputies responded to a traffic complaint. 
  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 17 traffic stops, issued 3 citations 13 warnings, and made 1 arrest.
  • Vehicle Theft - Sheriff's office received a call regarding a vehicle theft. Deputies spoke with parties involved a case has been opened. 
  • Medical Call - CW EMTs responded to a medical call. One patient was transferred to KMH. 
  • Motorist Assist - Deputies assisted a motorist. 

March 29 

  • Mutual Aid - CW & KC Fire responded to a vehicle and grass fire in Kiowa County.  
  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 1 traffic stop and issued 1 citation.
  • Motorist Assist - Deputies assisted a motorist. 
  • Alarm - Deputies responded to a burglary alarm. Determined to be a false alarm. 

March 30

  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 2 traffic stops and issued 2 warnings. 
  • Animal Complaint - Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a lost animal.

March 31

  • Medical Transfer - CW EMTs completed one medical transfer. 
  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 12 traffic stops, issued 4 citations and 8 warnings.
  • Livestock - Deputies responded to livestock on the Hwy.  
  • Vin Inspection - Sheriff's Office completed one vin inspection. 
  • Traffic Complaint - Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a traffic complaint. Complaint was transferred to Wallace County Kansas. 
  • Motorist Assist - Deputies assisted a motorist. 
  • Traffic Complaint - Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a traffic complaint. Call was transferred to CSP.

April 1

  • Vin inspection - Deputies completed one vin inspection. 
  • Agency Assist - Sheriff Miller and Deputies responded to an agency assist call. 
  • Lockout - Deputies completed one lockout.
  • Complaint - Deputies responded to a complaint call. A statement was taken. 
  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 13 traffic stops, issued 6 citations and 7 warnings. 

April 2

  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 12 traffic stops, issued 2 citations and 9 warnings. 
  • Suspicious Vehicle - Sheriff Miller Responded to a Suspicious Vehicle. 
  • Traffic Compliant - Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a traffic complaint, call transferred to CSP. 
  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 12 traffic stops, issued 2 citations and 9 warnings 1 arrest was made. 
  • Accident - Deputies & CW Fire responded to an accident on Hwy 40. 
  • Suspicious Vehicle - Deputies observed a suspicious vehicle. Spoke with parties. 

April 3

  • Traffic Stop - Deputies made 1 traffic stop issued 1 warning.
  • DUI - Deputies made 1 arrest. 
  • Suspicious Activity - Sheriff's Office received a call regarding suspicious activity. 
  • Accident - CW Fire, KC Fire, KC EMTs CW EMTs and deputies responded to a vehicle accident.
