Child Care Training Class Set
A six-hour training session for child care providers is being sponsored by the Cheyenne-Kiowa-Lincoln Early Childhood Council in mid-April.
CKLECC provides training and support to child care provider across the three counties and throughout the region. The council focuses on family support and education, health and well-being, as well as learning and development.
Family child care providers, early childhood teachers, preschool directors, foster parents and neighbor care providers, along with family, friends or anyone who works with young children is invited to register for the training sessions, which will be held April 14 at the Limon Community Building, 477 D Avenue in Limon. The full day of sessions will run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
A $35 registration fee is waived for residents of Cheyenne, Kiowa and Lincoln counties. Lunch and appreciation gifts will be provided.
Contact Julie Witt at 719-775-9728 by April 6 to register. Late registrations are accepted; however, the fee will increase for residents outside the three counties.
