TOWN OF CHEYENNE WELLS CHIP SEAL PROJECTS STARTS MAY 8, 2023

A-One Chipseal Company will be implementing the Town of Cheyenne Wells chip seal project beginning Monday, May 8, 2023 at 7 am and plans to be completed by May 10, 2023.  In preparing for this date please note property owner’s responsibilities.

1. Scheduled start times are estimated.  Please allow a 2-hour grace period for services scheduled due to traffic, road conditions, plant time, and weather.
2. Sprinkler systems must be turned off 24 hours prior to, & after, completion of the work.
3. All vehicles must be cleared of the streets or they will be towed if you can’t be reached to remove the vehicle immediately.
4. Slurry Seal requires a cure time of 3-4 hours after it is applied.

Members of the community living on the streets listed below must remove all vehicle units from the streets and if not removed at time of the project starting at each location, those units will be subject to removal by towing if you are unable to be reached to do so immediately. NO DRIVING on these streets while the application and curing process occurs.  PLEASE watch and obey all traffic signage. 

Street closures will be in the following order with the exception of the Cheyenne County School District RE-5 area.

2. SOUTH 1ST FROM WEST 15^TH TO EAST 5TH
3. WEST 6TH NORTH FROM HWY 40 TO COUNTY ROAD R
4. NORTH 5^TH FROM HWY 385 TO WEST 4^TH MAY 8^TH AND 9^TH BETWEEN 9AM & 3PM-SCHOOL
5. WEST 4TH NORTH FROM NORTH 4^TH TO NORTH 4^TH MAY 8^TH AND 9^TH BETWEEN 9AM & 3 PM-SCHOOL
6. WEST 7TH NORTH FROM SOUTH 1^ST EAST TO NORTH 1^ST EAST
7. NORTH 1ST WEST FROM WEST 6^TH TO WEST 13^TH-SOUTH SIDE OF CW HOUSING AUTHORITY
8. NORTH 2ND WEST FROM WEST 6^TH TO WEST 13^TH-NORTH SIDE OF CW HOUSING AUTHORITY
9. NORTH 3RD WEST FROM WEST 6^TH TO WEST 8TH
