NOTICE

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning and

Zoning Commission of the City of Lamar has

scheduled a Public Hearing for PZ-2025-09,

for the proposed rezoning of the property

known as Property 1 A tract of land lying in

Lots 12 and 21, in Forest Park Place, as set

forth on Land Survey Plat recorded May 4,

2000 at Reception No. 488769, County

Prowers State of Colorado. Also known as

220 Holly Street Lamar, Colorado.

That on April 16th, 2026 at the hour of 6:00

pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter may

come to a hearing in the conference room

located in the Community Development offices

at the Lamar Community Resource & Senior

Center located at 405 East Olive Street Lamar,

Colorado. The Lamar Planning and Zoning

Commission will hold a Public Hearing for the

purpose of finding and determining whether

the property proposed for the rezoning from an

O-E (Open Estates) zone to a C-2 (Mixed

Commercial) zone, meets the applicable

requirements of Colorado Law and is

considered eligible for rezoning from an O-E

zone to a C-2 zone. A copy of the application

is available for public inspection at the Building

Department’s Office, 407 East Olive Street,

Lamar, CO 81052. Petitions or remonstrances

may be filed until 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, April

15, 2026 4:00 pm at the City of Lamar Building

Department Office, 407 East Olive Street,

Lamar, CO 81052.
