In observance of Presidents Day, most City of Lamar offices will be closed Monday, February 17. Additional details include: 

Building Closures

The City of Lamar offices, City Complex, City Clerk's office, Community Building, Senior Center, and Public Library will be closed Monday, February 17 in observance of Presidents Day. All City offices will reopen Tuesday, February 18. 

Landfill

The landfill will be open Monday, February 17. from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Additional requirements and information are available at www.ci.lamar.co.us/landfill.

Residential Trash Pick-up

• Residential Trash Pick-up will remain the same for Presidents Day. Please have containers in place the night before. 

Commercial Trash Pick-up

• Commercial Trash Pick-up will remain the same for Presidents Day. 

Police, Dispatch, Fire & Ambulance Services will maintain regular hours. For non-emergency needs, call Prowers County Dispatch at 719-336-3977. 

NOTICE: February’s Free Dump Weekend is Saturday, February 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sunday, February 23, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. One load limit per day at the transfer station.
