The Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest following a high-speed pursuit that occurred Wednesday (February 15).

Nancy Green, 45, of Fort Collins, was stopped in connection with a hit-and-run investigation. Green then fled, driving west on Highway 96. Speed exceeded 100 miles-per-hour during the pursuit.

The Sheriff’s Office Coordinated with the Colorado State Patrol and the Crowley County Sheriff’s Office to disable Green’s vehicle using spike strips. Green was taken into custody about 19 miles west of Haswell.

She was transported to Prowers County Jail, and is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond. Green faces multiple charges, including vehicle eluding, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
