The Regular Meeting of the Town of Eads Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Shields, Monday April 12, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Hall. Robin Fox took roll call:

• Mayor – Joe D. Shields- Present
• Trustees – Present –Kathy McCracken, Justin McLoud, Stephanie Sewell, Tuck Liebl, Dennis Pearson. NEW MEMBER Fred Derby
• Absent – NONE
• Town Clerk- Robin Fox 
• Assistant Clerk- Mikahael McCracken
• Director of Public Works- Van Brown-By phone
• Town Attorney – Lance Clark – Absent

Minutes­- Kathy McCracken motioned to approve the minutes as presented. Tuck Liebl seconded, motion passed unanimously. 

New Member- Fred Derby read his letter of intent to join the Town board. Justin Mcloud motioned to accept Fred as a new member; Stephanie Sewell seconded, motion passed unanimously.

Approval of Bills – The finance committee reviewed the bills prior to the meeting. Kathy McCracken motioned to approve payment of the bills.  Tuck Liebl seconded, motion passed unanimously.

Public Comment- No one was present. 

New Business:

The Town Clerk brought up the FAMLI ACT that CML has sent asking if the Town would be opting in or out. The board reviewed the information that CML sent. The board would like more information from CML. The item was tabled until the next meeting.

Van talked to the board about the price of oil for the yearly chip seal project. He also mentioned he has been unable to get patch oil to repair the street at this time. The board has decided to wait until next summer to do the chip seal project.

Bring Up Items – No items

Executive Session- at 5:25 pm they made a motion to go into executive session. Van had an item he wanted to discuss on a personal matter. Robin and Mikahael left the meeting at this time. They came out of executive session at 6:03 pm and adjourned the meeting at 6:04
