The Regular Meeting of the Town of Eads Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Shields, Monday May 9, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Hall. Mikahael Rogers took roll call:

• Mayor – Joe D. Shields- Present
• Trustees – Present –Fred Derby, Stephanie Sewell, Kathy McCracken, Tuck Liebl 
• Absent – Justin Mcloud and Dennis Pearson
• Town Clerk- Robin Fox - Absent
• Assistant Clerk- Mikahael Rogers
• Director of Public Works-Van Brown
• Town Attorney – Lance Clark – Absent

Minutes­- Stephanie Sewell moved to approve the minutes as presented. Kathy McCracken seconded, motion passed unanimously. 

Approval of Bills – The finance committee reviewed the bills prior to the meeting. Kathy McCracken moved to approve payment of the bills. Fred Derby seconded, motion passed unanimously.

Public Comment- None

New Business- Sheriff Bryan Williams was present and asked the board to consider thinking about putting an ordinance in place regarding ATV’s and golf carts. Bryan also let the board know he hired two more People, and he is looking for houses.

Justin McLoud asked if the summer baseball could use the bleachers until we get the new pool. They agreed with a contract in place, until our pool gets up and going.

Van Brown brought up purchasing a VAC trailer with a bid of $60,000.00. The board decided to table this discussion.

KCEDF- Cindy Mcloud gave updates on sidewalk grant.

Homeless- Tuck wondered what kind of Ordinance we had on homeless. We are going to check with other towns and the sheriff to see what they have.
