Public Apology

I would like to make a public apology to the town board for my conduct at the last board meeting, which was completely out of character for me. I am not that person.

After my knee replacement, I was put on a medication that can make me edgy and short-tempered. Lance, I am sorry for the way I spoke to you. Board members, I am deeply sorry for speaking to you the way I did.

After our last meeting, I found out that I had mistakenly missed my prescription for 2 ½ days. The medication that I was put on is taken differently than the one that I used to take, and I was not immediately aware that I had not taken it. So you caught me on my worst day between the pain and short temper. I lost my cool.

Robin and Mikaheel, I am sorry. Trent and Donta I know I told you that I was edgy and apologized beforehand if I got on you for stupid reasons.

I would also like to apologize to any town or county resident that I may have been short with during this time.

I take great pride in my job, and I hope that you all will accept my apology.
