Guests of Denis and Theresa Weber over Easter weekend were: Connie Weber; Jerry and Quinton Weber and Quinton's friend, Madi Craig; Kathy and Lexi Knutson and their two exchange students, Bolin Chen from China and Kazauk Momura from Japan; Nicole, Jessica and Courtney Cochran; Ben Costello; Dalton Mercure and Ronnie, Emma and Zach Weber.  The exchange students had never experienced an Easter egg hunt and they really enjoyed it

Evan, Jen, Layton, Julia, and Lincoln Hopkins went to Wichita last weekend, where they took part in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk.  Five rodeo queens and Miss Rodeo Kansas and other friends and family were on Layton's walking team.

Over 200 people attended the Health Fair in Tribune on Saturday. 

Cheri Hopkins helped her daughter Christy with her part of the fair  and she saw several people from our area there.

Forty-two ladies attended the Ladies Retreat at the Sheridan Lake Church on Friday and Saturday.

Carol Shalberg was busy last week watching her grandson Dawsen play baseball in Lakin on Tuesday and watching her grandson Kyler play 5th and 6th grade basketball in Cheyenne Wells on Saturday. Keeps you young Carol!!

Cora Coffman and her daughter Sheila Brase and husband Jeff traveled to Colorado Springs on Saturday to meet up with Cora's son Cecil and wife Lana.  They attended the volleyball tournament that Cora's granddaughter, Jordan Coffman was playing in.  A fun filled day and lots of good visiting.

I attended the Junior High Track Meet in Holly on Friday.  It was cold and windy - go figure!  Others from our area that I saw in attendance were:  Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds and daughter; Jay and Sharon Wilson; Linly and Sherell Stum; Candi Frey and girls; Cora Coffman and Sheila Brase.  The Junior High have a busy schedule as they have track meets on Thursday and Friday this week.  Good Luck Team!

The Praise Band traveled to Tribune Sunday evening to perform at the Methodist Church.
