The Spring Fling Craft Fair held at Plainview School on Saturday was a huge success.  There were lots of different products and craft items to see and purchase.  The Plainview Community Club members served a delicious lunch and the cheerleaders had a large variety of baked goodies for sale.  A very enjoyable day!  Hats off to the PCC for a job well done!!

The 8th grade class would like to thank the Parts store and the Hawks Nest for allowing them to hold their car wash by their businesses on Saturday.  They washed a lot of vehicles during the day -- even a semi truck.  Thanks to everyone who brought vehicles to be washed.

Weekend before last, Larry and Judy Tuttle traveled to Castle Rock to spend the weekend with Mike, Rhonda and Emily Koehn.

Susan Greenfield's dad Norm came down for the weekend and helped her at the craft show.  Her sister Sami and husband John had a booth by hers and made fancy tea shirts to sell.

Kelvin and Amy Schmidt went to New Mexico last Wednesday - Saturday with the church group to work on a missionary house. Kelvin's folks, Willis and Viletta Schmidt came to stay with Alex while they were gone.

This past week, several people from our area were busy attending Junior High and High School track meets in Cheyenne Wells; Johnson, KS; Tribune, KS and Limon.  GO TRACKSTERS!!

Jeff and Sheila Brase; Kelli Kern and Sonny Chavez and Bud and Erica Kern and family came to Cora Coffman's home on Saturday to do some Spring Cleaning in the house and on the yard.  They did the work and Cora cooked for them.  Her grandson Weslee spent Saturday night with her and she took him home Sunday afternoon.

Larry and Amanda Koeller hosted a party for their son Chance on Sunday to celebrate his 1st birthday.  Guests were:  Edith and Harley Koeller; Glen and Connie Koeller; Marvin, Gail and Vincent Koeller; Eugene and Judy Splitter; Sharon and Kristen Arns; Barb and Kayla Wanderlingh; Merle and Carol Shalberg; Denis and Theresa Weber; Danny and Rachel Specht and Amanda's parents, grandparents and several other family members.  Happy 1st birthday Chance!!

Dick and I enjoyed having Lori Shalberg stop by Sunday afternoon for a visit.

Have a great week!!
