Dick and I went to Sterling, CO last Tuesday for a meeting.
Afterwards we met our good friends, Everett and Dorothy Duncan for a late lunch and lots of good visiting. We've known the Duncans for almost 53 years.
A fun time was had by all that attended the Family Sock Hop at Plainview School Thursday evening. There was lots of yummy goodies entered in the "Bake Off". Shannon Votruba's Apple Crisp was the winner. This event was sponsored by the PCC (Plainview Community Club).
The next event the PCC will sponsor will be the 1st Annual Spring Fling - Craft Fair on April 9, 2016 from 9a.m. - 4p.m. at the Plainview Gymnasium. Lunch will be available and vendor booths are 10'X10' for $25. Door prizes will be given throughout the day. Need a vendor contract or have any questions? Call Amanda Koeller at 970-630-5431.
The Junior High Knowledge Bowl team traveled to Campo on Friday and came home with 4th place out of 12 teams. Congratulations to the team of Olivia Specht, Japhet Frey and Kyle Scott. Also, to their sponsor, Miss Fees.
