This past week was the beginning of basketball season for the Plainview High School boys and girls.  There was a large crowd that turned out for the games.  They host Lamar Monday evening and then are on the road the rest of the week.

The Christmas Craft Fair at Plainview on Saturday was well attended, with lots of different types of vendors offering their wares to the buyers.  I don't know about anyone else, but I hope this becomes an annual affair.  Congratulations to PCC for doing a great job.

There will be a Christmas program at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church on Sunday December 11 at 6p.m.  There will be finger food following the program.

Everyone is welcome to come

Larry and Judy Tuttle went to Castle Rock on Sunday to visit with their daughter Rhonda Koehn and family.  On Monday, they traveled to Denver to keep Dr. appointments.

Our communities would like to extend their condolences to Melissa Parks and her family on the loss of her cousin in Oklahoma.

Cora Coffman attended the Junior High basketball tournament in

Granada on Saturday, where she watched her great grandson Weslee play

with the Cheyenne Wells team.

Susan Greenfield's dad, Norm and her brother-in-law John spent the

weekend with her and had  booths at the craft fair.

It was good to see and visit with Vonnie Christopherson and her

daughter Victoria at the craft fair, where they had a booth.

An enjoyable time was had by all that attended the Plainview Staff

Christmas dinner and gift exchange at the Towner Community Hall on

Saturday evening.

Monte and Linda Stum's guests over the weekend were their daughter

Kami Janes and her family.  Chris and Kami had a booth at the craft

fair.  That evening, they celebrated birthdays at Monte and Linda's home.

Several families in the area were hosting hunters over the weekend.

Plainview School will be hosting their Senior Citizen Christmas

dinner on Wednesday.  The Christmas program will be next Tuesday, Dec.

13 and the students are out for Christmas break at the end of the week.

Where did this year go?

Hip-Hip Hooray; Hallelujah; Yea; FINALLY -- our outdoor Christmas

lights are up and going.  Bring your kids and come enjoy!!

Have a great week
