It was a very exciting weekend of basketball games in the 1A and 2A District tournaments.  Cora Coffman and I went down Tuesday and Thursday for the games.  She went back on Saturday with her daughter Sheila Brase and her husband, Jeff.  Others we saw at the games were:  The Marvin Koeller family; Larry Koeller family; Harley Koeller family; Gary Tuttle; Cheri Hopkins; Susan Greenfield; Tina Kraft and the Jay Wilson family.  Congratulations to the boys teams from Kit Carson, Cheraw and Cheyenne Wells and the girls teams from Kit Carson, McClave and Eads.  These teams will be traveling to Colorado Springs this weekend to compete in the Regional tournament.  We wish them all the best in their endeavors to advance onto the state tournament.

Evan and Jen Hopkins and children and Cheri Hopkins took in the basketball games on Saturday evening at the Community Building.
