For anyone with diabetes, glucose monitoring is an essential skill in self-care behavior.  Diabetes care advances every year and new methods of tracking glucose numbers develop.

  • What do they mean?
  • Why should one care?
  • How do they influence one’s treatment plan, long term or in the moment?
  • Which one or ones are right for you?

Learn the answers to these questions and more Thursday, August 30,from noon – 1:00 p.m. for the third webinar in a series of four for 2018 presented by Karla Saffer, RN, BSN, CDE of Wray Community District Hospital in Wray.

This webinar will provide basic information about fingerstick glucose monitoring, hemoglobin A1C and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM).  Emphasis will be given to CGM with highlights about the benefits and enhanced glycemic picture it provides to an individual.
